RIT- Koderma’s Dismissal Process


Admitting a case against the Management

of a Private Technical Institute in the state,

the Jharkhand Education Tribunal (JET)

served a Show Cause Notice

on the RIT- Koderma’s Management over alleged irregularities

in the dismissal process violating the Norm & Regulations of

AICTE,UGC, Law of Land ,Labour Law

& Constitutional & Human Rights etc…..

The Chairperson of the tribunal, Justice (Retired) L.P.N. Shahdeo,

Today gave 30 days to the premier private engineering institute
Ramgovind Institute of Technology,Koderma .

To respond to the petition filed by a resident of Jhumri Tilaiya
Prof. Alok Kumar, Who is dismissed Without serving any show cause notice,
Without proving his any guilt or any earlier information.

As per his complaint, Professor Alok Kumar claimed that

despite performing in the college matters,

He was dismissed from his job violating all Norms &

Regulations of AICTE and UGC.

Accusing the Director - Dr. Rameshwar Prasad of the institute

handling the administration process arbitrarily,

He claimed that he was thrown outside of College without any major fault.
He blames his exit from the college on the rampant irregularities
By the so called Bursur Mr. T.K.Saha & the Secretary Mr. Vishal Kumar, Dr.Radheshyam Singh, Prof. Ved Prakash Singh, Prof. Nirbhay Ranjan,

Prof. Swaym Prakash Singh, Prof. Abhishek Kumar , Satyendra, Anil

with the help of some other Employees

in the College Administration in Financial Process.

Expressing shock & grief, our sources said that

the Professor (Er.) Alok Kumar
Had earlier approached the Institute Director Dr. R. Prasad
& pleaded with his all relevant facts,but no avail.

After receiving his dismissal order, Issued on 16 Th July, 2008

by signature of the College Director,

He was not conveyed any reason for his dismissal.

Professor Alok Kumar added that

How can they ignore all laws & the
Guidelines of the All-India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) ?

Are they above of Law ?

Are they above of Indian Constitution ?

This was not the first time

such a false misgiving was brought against him

by some staffs who are carrying financial irregularities.

Professor Alok Kumar requested College Chairman for a fair & transperent enquiry to find the all truth.

He also said that he is completely demorlised &

mentally depressed by the way of his dismissal.

He requested College Chairman Er.Ravindra Kumar

to consider his plead & asked about

What are they trying to prove & what are they trying to hide ?
Why are they so insecure in their own irregularities?

Professor Alok Kumar said the institute was yet to receive

the show cause notice issued by the JET,

which has said it will admit the case only after hearing out both sides.

JET has expressed deep concern over his case.

However he said that the JET has already admitted the case,

But will take decision only after hearing both sides.

JET are monitoring the alarming situation

of Private Institutions mishandling,

Vilation of Human Right,Mental Torture etc...



Let’s look at the case of Prof. Alok Kumar.

He feels that his rejection process is arbitrary.
In fact few technical institutes in India
Which has done away with their dismissal process of
any employee for rejection, Because they felt simply try to drown out the other professor’s voices. The ones, who have good enough chamchagiri to contribute, But are too polite to shut down the others,
Don’t get any chance to speak truth.

Now it is the right time to look at the dismissal process In any technical institutions.

In India the education systemAt the Under Graduate Level (Technical Courses)
Seems to focus only on Chamachagiri of Management And not the all round development of the Professors.

To be a great Engineer,You need some amount of intellect,
Some amount of empathy,

Some amount of maturity,

Some amount of logical reasoning &
A few other things besides.

He thinks that quite a few of these qualities
would be missing in his Director.

The Director Dr. R. Prasad needs to examine
his own decision & realistically consider his plus & minus points before rushing to any dismissal order.Otherwise this may set off a slew of law suits
Against those technical educational institutions By Professors who were dismissed Without any fault by violating the rule and regulations.

Unable to handle his rejection process,

Professor Alok Kumar is also planning to file

Jan Hit Yachika in Jharkhand High Court in coming days.

He said that he will go to any extent to get Justice.
